Here’s a reminder that our first ensemble rehearsal of this session is tomorrow, Wednesday, at 11:00 AM in Tremont. We will rehearse for one hour, and the group is open to any member of the chorus who would like to participate.
As always, I want to offer a gentle reminder about attendance.
Because we meet only once a week and the music tends to be on the more challenging side, regular attendance really does matter. We are a small group, and we rely on hearing one another in order to build the unified sound that makes the ensemble special.
It is also worth noting that there are only seven Wednesday rehearsals in this session. That is a small number, and it is why attendance carries so much weight. With that in mind, I encourage everyone to take a look at their calendars before committing. If you are not able to attend at least five of the seven rehearsals, this may not be the right session to participate. There will always be another opportunity, and I want the experience to be a good one for everyone involved.
Of course, I know that life happens and unexpected things come up. If you find as we go along that you are missing more rehearsals than you anticipated, please just come and talk to me. We can always figure something out together.
